Neighborhoods
The Lakehurst Homes community is comprised of two distinct neighborhoods and serves Active Duty military personnel stationed at JBMDL Lakehurst. Both neighborhoods are also open to other qualified applicants, as indicated below. On-Base

- Baths: 1.5 – 4
- Eligibility: All ranks; military retirees; DOD employees
The On-Base neighborhood features three-, four- and five-bedroom homes with exceptional features like central heating and air conditioning, garage and ceiling fans. Residents in this neighborhood are conveniently located near the commissary, post office, golf course, bowling alley, and playground areas.

Pinehurst Estates

- Eligibility: All ranks; military retirees; DOD employees; general public
Pinehurst Estates offers two, three and four-bedroom townhouse and duplex homes featuring central heating and air conditioning, a fully-equipped kitchen, ample closets and storage space, carport or garage, and patio. Pinehurst Estates is conveniently located close to the PX, Commissary, Shoppette, banks, post office and chapel. ADA homes are available in the four-bedroom model.
